Bewdley Town vs Ferndale Flyers 09/10/10

Going into a fourth game unbeaten morale in the team was high which showed when Connor scored a superb goal in the first few minutes thanks to some good passing from midfield . Within a few minutes though Ferndale scored to take it to one goal apiece. The game flowed from end to end with some good work off both teams but due to some wonderful passing out of midfield both Connor and Caine managed to get on the scoresheet to take the game at half time 3-1 to Bewdley. In the second half Ferndale seemed to be shell shocked and barely managed to get out of their own half, though both goalies had to pull off a good few saves to keep the game flowing. Just before the end of time the game was put out of the reach of Ferndale when Oliver scored a fourth goal for Bewdley for the match to finish 4-1

Bewdley Town vs Cookley Raiders 25/09/10

First home game of the new season and Bewdley played full of confidence and on a high after last weeks win. Cookley won the toss and attacked straight away but were unable to penetrate the defensive trio of Josh,Charlie and Jake. The game flowed both ways for a while but gradually Bewdley began to dominate the game spending much of the first half in Cookleys area culminating in the first goal of the game for Caine, which is how the first half ended. second half began in much the same way but the Cookley team were stouthearted in defence and refused to conceed any more goals, mainly due to some good saves by the goalie.Gradually Cookley began to play more and had a few shots on goal, well saved by Alex in goal. After a goalmouth scramble at the Cookley end Tristan managed to get the ball to Zac who slotted it home to make it 2-0 to Bewdley . So coming upto a free weekend Bewdley are now 3 wins out of 3

Bewdley vs Cookley Rockets...18/09/10

Arriving at Cookleys ground the boys..and parents..were filled with confidence after last weeks win. Starting strongly the boys were on the attack straight away and within 5 minutes were a goal up thanks to a nice bit of goal poaching by Alfie to score his third in two games. From the kick off Bewdley were on the attack again with the Cookley team looking a bit shell shocked by the early goal. After a nice series of passes between the midfield and strikers a corner was forced at the Cookley end. Stepping forward to take the corner Oliver lashed a strong shot across the goal post leaving the keeper no chance when it crept in the far corner to take Bewdley  two goals to the good. A further goal was added a few minutes before the half time whistle by Oliver again to take his total after his two games to four. In the second half Cookley seemed to be galvanised and attacked strongly. With Charlie and Luke masterful in defence and  Nathan and Jake bossing the midfield the pressure was resisted by Bewdley with Alex making a few good saves. The game ended with Bewdley on the attack again to win again for the second time in two games..3-0

BewdleyTown v's Arley Kings 11/09/10

First match of the season and the weather was fine after a night of rain. All the boys turned up in their new kits and after a little light training with Shane and Wayne the match began. After a hectic opening few minutes the game settled down with both teams having  few chances until Arley Kings struck first to make it 1-0. Though a goal down the boys continued to play and withn a series of passes a chance opened up for Oliver to score which he took to draw level at 1-1 which was the score at half time. After a quick start and a number of crisp passes again off Mitch and Connor , Alfie struck twice in the space of a few minutes to draw Bewdley clear at 3-1. This seemed to galvanise Arley who had a continued spell of posession and managed to draw level with 3 goals each. The game seemed to be heading for a well deserved draw for both teams when Oliver struck again from an acute angle leaving the Arley Goalie no chance to win the game for Bewdley Town 4-3
